This opportunity provides exposure to inpatient pharmacy in a dynamic hospital setting, utilizing systems such as EPIC and Pyxis. The position offers a variable days and afternoon schedule, emphasizing flexibility to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow efficiency Consult with physicians regarding medication therapies and clinical decisions Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage pharmacy operations and patient records

Qualifications:

Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices and pharmacokinetics Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment Proficient with EPIC and Pyxis or similar hospital information systems
