Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading 500-bed hospital in York, PA is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a contract assignment starting ASAP, lasting approximately 13 weeks. This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable days and afternoons, ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting directly with physicians to optimize patient care, and managing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring. You will work closely with advanced technologies, including EPIC and Pyxis systems, supporting inpatient medication management with a focus on complex oncology and chemotherapy medications. The ideal candidate will hold an active Pennsylvania pharmacist license and have several years of inpatient experience. Proficiency with the EPIC system is essential, as is experience with oncology medication protocols to ensure safe and effective patient treatment.
Key Qualifications:
