Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join a well-established non-sterile compounding pharmacy specializing in dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, hair restoration, wellness, and weight management. The role supports a growing telemedicine fulfillment service with a dynamic, small team environment.

Immediate Key Responsibilities:
Provide regulatory oversight and ensure compliance as the Pharmacist in Charge Perform final verification checks on non-sterile compounded prescriptions Review and approve compounding formulas, batch records, and quality assurance documentation Maintain adherence to USP standards and state Board of Pharmacy regulations (CA and AZ) Collaborate closely with an existing PIC and pharmacy team to support operations and workflow
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active California Pharmacist License (mandatory) Active Arizona Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain preferred Solid experience in non-sterile compounding (highly desirable) Prior Pharmacist in Charge experience or readiness to assume the role Ability to work on-site in Tempe, Arizona during regular business hours This position serves as an additional PIC to accommodate increasing telemedicine volumes and ensure compliance across multiple states, particularly California.
