Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A fulfillment/mail order pharmacy specializing in Rx services for top providers including Express Scripts, Optum, and CVS Caremark is seeking a dual-licensed pharmacist for an on-site position. This role is well suited for a candidate holding both Illinois and Nevada pharmacist licenses, with the ability to work on-site in Schaumburg, IL, and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process and verify prescriptions both on-site and remotely. Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and maintain high-volume prescription processing. Support a busy operation serving direct-to-patient orders and major pharmacy benefit managers. Participate in a Saturday rotation approximately every 6-7 weeks during the site's Mon-Sat 7 AM to 7 PM operating hours.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active pharmacist licenses in both Illinois (IL) and Nevada (NV) are required for this role. Experience in mail order or fulfillment pharmacy settings preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team. Commitment to contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture.

On-site role based in Schaumburg, IL with some remote work responsibilities.

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, 7 AM - 7 PM Saturday shifts rotate every 6-7 weeks. This contract opportunity starts ASAP and is anticipated to last 3-6 months with potential to convert to a permanent position.
