Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A fulfillment and mail order pharmacy serving major providers such as Express Scripts, Optum, and CVS Caremark is seeking a pharmacist with dual licensure in Illinois and Nevada for an on-site role in Des Plaines, IL. This opportunity allows you to contribute to a dynamic pharmacy team dedicated to delivering exceptional service through both direct-to-patient prescriptions and large-scale managed care. Responsibilities include processing and verifying prescriptions, supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow, and ensuring accuracy and compliance on-site. In addition, remote work will involve prescription processing to support ongoing operations. The site operates Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with pharmacists working Saturdays on a rotating basis approximately every 6-7 weeks.

Key Qualifications:

Active pharmacist licenses in both Illinois and Nevada (required for on-site and remote duties) Experience in fulfillment or mail order pharmacy settings preferred Proven ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and manage prescription volume efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday rotation every 6-7 weeks This role offers a 3-6 month contract, starting ASAP, with potential to convert to a permanent position.
