Category Pharmacy•Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed Michigan pharmacist to serve as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a behavioral health facility in the Byron Center area. The role provides critical pharmacy leadership and operational oversight within a specialized behavioral health setting.

Immediate start through approximately 8+ weeks, covering until a permanent Director of Pharmacy is hired
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM•3:00 PM Saturdays (remote), 9:00 AM•11:00
AM Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper stock levels Oversee daily pharmacy operations as Director of Pharmacy and PIC Utilize HCS system for order entry (experience preferred) Manage site automation through Omnicell technology (experience preferred) Collaborate within a behavioral health facility environment
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing (required) Proven experience in pharmacy leadership roles preferred Familiarity with behavioral health pharmacy operations an asset Competency using HCS order entry and Omnicell automation systems beneficial Ability to operate independently without pharmacy technician support
