Job Description

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Remote Pharmacist to support a fast‑growing telemedicine pharmacy that dispenses and ships prescription medications to patients across the United States. This is a fully remote role based in Florida, responsible for ensuring pharmacy operations remain compliant with federal regulations and multi‑state Board of Pharmacy requirements, with particular emphasis on California and Florida. The Pharmacist will serve as the designated pharmacist responsible for regulatory compliance, operational oversight, and pharmacy practice standards for a non‑resident, mail‑order/telepharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Pharmacist for a telemedicine‑driven, mail‑order pharmacy shipping medications nationwide
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, including but not limited to California and Florida Boards of Pharmacy
  • Oversee and maintain compliance for non‑resident pharmacy licensure, inspections, audits, and reporting requirements
  • Establish, implement, and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and SOPs in alignment with telepharmacy and mail‑order regulations
  • Maintain oversight of prescription dispensing, verification workflows, recordkeeping, and patient safety practices
  • Ensure proper controlled substance handling, inventory controls, and DEA compliance (if applicable)
  • Supervise and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and related staff in a remote environment
  • Act as the primary regulatory contact for Boards of Pharmacy, auditors, and accrediting bodies
  • Partner cross‑functionally with clinical, operations, compliance, and technology teams to support scalable pharmacy growth
  • Monitor regulatory changes impacting telemedicine, non‑resident pharmacies, and interstate dispensing and recommend operational updates accordingly

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a remote, fast‑paced environment
