- Pharmacy Specialty - OP Specialty (Main) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-33 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description The Specialty Clinical Pharmacist provides distributive and clinical pharmacy services to the outpatients and visitors of the Medical University Hospital and Clinics. Additional responsibilities include addressing the needs of nursing and medical personnel regarding drug disposition and usage; counsels patients and health care professionals by providing general and patient specific drug information; ensures timely and medically appropriate dispensing. The Clinical Pharmacist participates in the patient management and quality programs of the Specialty Pharmacy.Additional Job Description Minimum Training and Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
