Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An independent pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis, with the potential for contract-to-hire. Their mission centers on delivering personalized, fast, and friendly service, emphasizing expert advice and placing patient health and wellness at the forefront. Location:
Brentwood, TN (facility address in Nashville, TN)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM (32-40 hours/week) Possible every-other-Saturday shifts, 9 AM - 3 PM (subject to coverage)
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently dispense medications in compliance with laws and regulations Counsel patients and caregivers on medication therapy, side effects, interactions, and proper usage Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management Maintain accurate patient records, review prescriptions for appropriate dosages, and verify drug interactions Uphold core values, support the team, and contribute to a positive work culture Stay informed on industry best practices and adapt to changes in protocols and technologies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
