Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A well-established independent compounding pharmacy in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist for vacation coverage from May 27-29, with additional ongoing opportunities available. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations in a high-volume mail order pharmacy specializing in post-cataract surgery eye drops.

Schedule:

Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Lunch break: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Closed on weekends

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription filling, and customer communication Provide expert guidance and answer any clinical or operational questions that arise Oversee the mail order eye drop department, ensuring the accurate preparation and shipment of three different formulations designed for post-cataract surgery patients

Qualifications:

Active Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee in good standing Minimum of 1-2 years professional pharmacist experience Experience in mail order pharmacy preferred but not mandatory Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage technicians and support patient needs This position offers the chance to work in a specialized, fast-paced compounding environment with robust support staff and a focus on quality patient care.
