Per Diem Mail Order Pharmacist Opportunity in Chattanooga, TN An independent compounding pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide critical vacation coverage starting May 27-29, with ongoing PRN needs. This role offers the chance to support a high-volume pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Lunch break from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Weekends closed

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a team of 5 pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and phone inquiries Provide expert answers and guidance on pharmacy-related questions that arise Supervise the mail order eye drop department, shipping three varieties of post-cataract surgery eye drops Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high-quality service standards

Qualifications:

Active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist Experience in mail order pharmacy preferred but not mandatory Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists as well as reliable recent graduates This Per Diem position allows for work flexibility while contributing to a well-established compounding pharmacy known for its quality and precision.
