$300 reimbursement Overview Designer Drugs Pharmacy is a growing, innovative compounding pharmacy. We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist who is flexible, adaptable, and committed to patient care. This unique role requires staffing across all four pharmacy areas — Retail, Clinical, Fulfillment, and Lab (Sterile & Non-Sterile) — while formally reporting to the Retail Department. Responsibilities Team & Leadership Supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations alongside the Pharmacy Manager. Provide coaching and recognition to pharmacy technicians; ensure workflow balance. Foster a collaborative, positive environment for both staff and patients. Retail Verify prescriptions and counsel patients on new medications and compounded therapies. Provide supplement and anti-aging therapy recommendations. Ensure the retail experience is patient-focused, efficient, and professional. Clinical Conduct patient consultations, including staffing the clinical office when needed. Partner with physicians to discuss dosage forms, therapy options, and follow-ups. Be an advocate for anti-aging and wellness therapies, including lab review and consults. Fulfillment Oversee technician workflow in packaging and order processing. Ensure timely verification and release of prescriptions for shipping and pickup. Maintain accuracy, compliance, and high service standards in fulfillment operations. Lab (Sterile & Non-Sterile) Complete sterile compounding and HRT training (provided by Designer Drugs). Safely and accurately perform compounding duties following USP , , and . Apply knowledge of dosage form stability, handling, and calculations. Compliance & Brand Maintain an active Tennessee pharmacist license (or be eligible for reciprocity). Ensure all legal, regulatory, and privacy requirements are upheld. Follow Designer Drugs' brand, dress code, and professional standards. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program. Active Tennessee pharmacist license in good standing (or ability to obtain before start date). Ability to float seamlessly between Retail, Clinical, Fulfillment, and Lab environments. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, stability, and dosage forms. Proficiency with pharmacy software and technology systems (preferred). Preferred Experience Prior experience in retail, fulfillment, compounding, or clinical consults. Sterile compounding knowledge; willingness to complete certification required. Familiarity with USP , , and compliance standards. Ideal Candidate Profile Thrives on direct patient interaction , both in retail and clinical consults. Eager to expand expertise in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), anti-aging medicine, skincare, and cosmeceuticals . Strong listening and communication skills — able to tailor messaging for patients, providers, and colleagues. Comfortable with ambiguity and confident in thinking and speaking "on the fly." Works independently with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities . Passionate about functional wellness, women's health, men's health, supplements, and OTC therapies .
