Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A reputable independent pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The pharmacy's mission centers on providing personalized, fast, and friendly service, with a commitment to placing patient health and wellness at the forefront. They specialize in compounding, medication management, and delivery services, emphasizing tailored healthcare solutions and fostering long-term patient relationships.
Location:
Hendersonville, TN Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (32-40 hours) Possible every-other-Saturday shift, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (coverage may be available)
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with all laws and regulations Provide expert counseling on medication therapy, side effects, and proper usage to patients and caregivers Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management Maintain precise patient records and verify prescriptions for dosage and drug interactions Uphold company values, lead by example, and contribute to a positive work environment Stay updated on industry best practices and adapt to evolving protocols and technologies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist License Experience with PioneerRX software preferred Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong customer service orientation This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team environment where patient care is a priority.
