Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing and experienced pharmacist to work part-time at our location. Applicants must be friendly, customer-oriented professionals with organization and leadership skills. Our pharmacists are responsible for dispensing prescriptions by following company standard operating procedures for receiving, filling, dispensing, logging, and maintaining loss prevention controls. They ensure that policies and Federal and State laws and regulations on all prescription-related issues, including HIPAA, are followed. They provide counseling on both prescription medications and over-the-counter medications per company policy and as required by State and Federal law. They ensure that all control drug policies and procedures as required by State, Federal, and Company guidelines are followed. They perform troubleshooting for third-party discrepancies and other prescription filling issues and verify that all required pharmacy, pharmacist, and technician licenses/registrations are current and valid as required by State, Federal, and company guidelines. They drive sales and profit in pharmacy & OTC sections. Pharmacists model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance to technicians on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards. They oversee the implementation of and participate in community outreach programs and encourage technicians to serve as good members of the community. They provide quality pharmaceutical care to customers.
