In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care. Duties Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all legal, safety, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA compliance. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies, considering medical history, physiology knowledge, and current health conditions. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication plans, especially in specialized areas such as LTC (Long-Term Care), critical care, pediatrics, and pain management. Manage inventory levels efficiently by ordering, stocking, and verifying medications. Provide patient service by offering medication counseling, answering questions about drug interactions, side effects, and proper usage. Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and the importance of medication adherence for improved health outcomes. Qualifications Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior experience NOT necessary. New grads welcome to apply! Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Knowledge of inventory management practices to ensure medication availability while minimizing waste.

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
