Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | 40 hours per week

Healthcare / Specialty Pharmacy Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other complex conditions requiring infused therapies
• Manage the nuances of factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and other novel agents, as well as a broad range of subcutaneous and IV infusions for chronic conditions
• Educate patients and their families on complex drug administration, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe handling of medications in the home
• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
• Work alongside reimbursement specialists to navigate complex insurance plans, secure prior authorizations, and identify financial assistance programs for patients
• Utilize CareTend pharmacy software for daily operations — training provided for the right candidate Experience
• Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with hemophilia, immune deficiency, autoimmune, or infusion therapy preferred
• Factor replacement therapy and novel agent experience a plus
• CareTend experience is a significant plus, but not required — willing to train Skills
• Strong clinical judgment in complex specialty therapy management
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Comfortable navigating insurance, prior authorizations, and financial assistance programs
• Collaborative and team-oriented with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators
• Driven and entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow with the organization Qualifications
• An active Tennessee Pharmacist License is required
• Open to obtaining additional state licenses as the practice grows
• CareTend proficiency a plus Education
