Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a mail order renal specialty pharmacy specializing in handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This role focuses on delivering critical verification services to ensure the accuracy and safety of dispensed medications.

Contract (13-week minimum with potential for contract-to-hire)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM (40 hours per week)

ASAP Key Responsibilities:

Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) by conducting final verification processes. Confirm the correct medication is placed in bottles or boxes, ensuring label directions and prescription details match the hard copy. Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system for processing prescriptions; no automation tools involved. Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid and active pharmacist license to practice. Proven experience in pharmacy verification and dispensing accuracy. Familiarity with mail order and specialty pharmacy operations preferred. Competence in using pharmacy systems such as Wellsky or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
