Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a high-volume setting. This role focuses on ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient medication distribution while delivering excellent patient service. Ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to contributing to health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies. Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management. Maintain inventory levels, manage medication records, and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws. Monitor for drug interactions and contraindications, providing clinical interventions when necessary. Keep current with new drugs, therapies, and pharmacy practices to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Pharmacist license in the practicing state. Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacist in a retail or hospital environment. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and regulations. Excellent communication skills and ability to educate diverse patient populations. Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology. Commitment to continuous professional development and patient safety.
