Renal Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) function,s including order entry verification and clinical review
• Perform Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions, ns including final verification of correct medication in the bottle or box
• Verify directions and prescription information against the hard copy for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume mail-order environment
• Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system for daily prescription processing

Experience:

• Retail or mail order pharmacy experience required
• Renal or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
• High volume pharmacy experience is a plus
• PV1 and PV2 verification experience preferred

Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification
• Comfortable working at a high volume pace in a focused workflow environment
• Reliable and consistent on an afternoon shift schedule
• Able to work independently without automation support Qualifications
• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Proficiency in Wellsky is preferred but not required

Education:
