Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established independent pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role. This opportunity is ideal for a professional committed to delivering personalized and attentive care, emphasizing patient health and wellness beyond dispensing medications.
Location:
Antioch, TN (with workplace at 1406 McGavock Pk STE A, Nashville, TN)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (32-40 hours/week) Possible every other Saturday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (subject to coverage availability)
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications in compliance with laws and regulations Provide thorough counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, side effects, and interactions Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes Maintain detailed patient records and review prescriptions for dosage accuracy and potential drug interactions Uphold company values and foster a positive, supportive work environment Stay informed of industry best practices, changes in protocols, and advancements in pharmacy technology
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required Experience with PioneerRX software preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships This position offers the chance to work within a pharmacy that values individualized care, offering compounding, medication management, and delivery services to meet unique patient needs.
