Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced healthcare environment located in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a pharmacy professional eager to contribute to patient health and safety through accurate medication dispensing and counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Review prescriptions for validity, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions. Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage, side effects, and storage. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed records of prescriptions and patient profiles. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Pharmacist licensure. Experience as a staff pharmacist or clinical pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting. Proficient in prescription processing and pharmacy management systems. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
