Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacist to support a 500-bed hospital located in Northwestern Texas. The role requires clinical expertise in hospital inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on delivering safe and effective medication management for patients. The hospital utilizes the EPIC system, making experience with this platform highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and verify inpatient medication orders to ensure accurate dispensing Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes Monitor patient medication therapy, including dosing adjustments and adverse reaction assessments Provide clinical consultations and support during rounds Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacist within a hospital setting is strongly preferred Familiarity with the EPIC electronic health record system is an advantage, supporting a smooth workflow and documentation Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail

Location:
Abernathy, TX (Northwestern Texas region)
Schedule:
7 consecutive nights on, followed by 7 nights off; Wednesday through Tuesday rotation
