Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an experienced Lead Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations during the afternoon and evening shift in San Antonio, TX. The role involves managing pharmacy staff to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing, while providing expert guidance and support to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards. Oversee prescription processing and verification to maintain patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy. Manage inventory and order medications as needed. Ensure adherence to all legal and ethical pharmacy practices. Handle escalated issues related to pharmacy operations and customer service.
Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license. Proven experience in a staff or lead pharmacist role. Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Schedule:
1:30 pm to 10:30 pm shift Monday through
Friday Location:
San Antonio, TX This is a contract position providing an excellent chance to lead and shape pharmacy services within an established healthcare environment.
