Part-Time IV Certified Compounding Pharmacist (Contractor) AGErite Pharmacy & Wellness Center - Cypress, TX 1099 Contractor | $65/hour Part-Time (~20 hours/week) About AGErite AGErite Pharmacy & Wellness Center is a pharmacist-led, innovation-driven compounding and wellness pharmacy focused on precision medicine, elevated patient care, and high-quality formulations. We specialize in sterile and non-sterile compounding, IV therapies, wellness injections, peptides, hormones, and anti-aging solutions designed to optimize health and longevity. Position Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, IV-Certified Pharmacist to support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations on a PRN/as-needed basis. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is meticulous, adaptable, and able to learn new workflows quickly in a fast-paced compounding environment. You will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and overseeing compounded preparations in full compliance with USP standards, state and federal regulations, and AGErite's internal quality and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> (aseptic technique, hood operation, cleanroom procedures, beyond-use dating). Perform and oversee non-sterile compounding in compliance with USP <795> (capsules, creams, suspensions, injectables, and specialty formulations). Accurately calculate, compound, verify, and document compounded preparations with exceptional attention to detail. Review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Maintain meticulous batch records, compounding logs, labeling, and quality documentation. Ensure compounding areas, equipment, and supplies meet cleanliness, sterility, and compliance standards. Support inventory management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to and enforce USP <800> handling requirements where applicable. Uphold AGErite's standards for precision, safety, professionalism, and patient-centered care. Required Qualifications Active Texas Pharmacist License (in good standing). IV / Sterile Compounding Certification required. Compounding experience strongly preferred (sterile and non-sterile). Strong working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards. Exceptionally detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and documentation. Ability to learn new processes quickly and adapt to evolving workflows. Comfortable working independently and supervise technicians Flexible availability based on business needs. Preferred Experience Experience with IV therapies, injectables, peptides, hormones, or wellness formulations. Familiarity with Liberty or other pharmacy management/compounding software. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Experience in a high-compliance or inspection-ready compounding environment.
