Per Diem Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This position offers an opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem support in a closed-door pharmacy setting attached to a behavioral hospital. The role primarily involves covering vacation and PTO shifts, with an average script volume of 300-400 prescriptions per day. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving primarily non-walk-in patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients as needed Manage prescription processing with attention to safety and compliance Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation Collaborate with healthcare staff in the behavioral hospital environment Learn and utilize Enterprise RX software used in the pharmacy (training provided) Adhere to pharmacy policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Recent experience as a licensed pharmacist with current knowledge of pharmacy practices Local to the area, available for per diem or part-time work Willingness to train on Enterprise RX pharmacy software Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
