Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical pharmacy expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment with a strong focus on patient care and infusion therapies. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented pharmacist who can balance clinical responsibilities with production duties during rotating schedules.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Texas Pharmacist License is mandatory IV Certification required, with proven infusion experience Willingness to obtain Oklahoma Pharmacist License within six months of hire Strong clinical pharmacy background with ability to manage patient care effectively Flexibility to support production duties during rotation periods
Location:
Irving, TX Schedule:
Monday to Friday Standard hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM On-call rotation every 7th weekend and approximately 3 weekday shifts per month with hours from 10:30 AM to 7:00
PM Primary Responsibilities:
Provide clinical management of patients, ensuring safe and effective medication use Rotate through production tasks, maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety when preparing infusion medications Participate actively in on-call duties and support urgent clinical needs as they arise This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking a balanced role that combines clinical patient management with hands-on production experience.
