Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks two skilled pharmacists to support pediatric inpatient care at a well-regarded hospital in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidates will bring solid clinical experience, technical proficiency, and a commitment to high-quality patient service in a dynamic hospital environment.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions within an inpatient pediatric setting Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical therapies Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems to manage medication orders and inventory Monitor patient medication therapies and provide education as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Texas pharmacist license required Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis dispensing technology Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality pharmaceutical care Strong communication and teamwork skills

Lubbock, Texas Contract Details:
