Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Position:
4 days per week (Pharmacy is open M-F; 8:30am - 5:30pm) The Opportunity Rx relief is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead a premier concierge pharmacy in Lubbock, TX. This isn't your typical high-volume retail environment. In this role, you will oversee a specialized team focused on high-quality, non-sterile compounding, ensuring every patient receives personalized care in a sophisticated setting. Core Responsibilities As the PIC, you will be the clinical and operational anchor of the facility. Your primary focus will be maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and team leadership.
Operations & Compliance:
Oversee all daily concierge pharmacy operations and maintain strict adherence to USP regulations and state guidelines.
Leadership:
Directly manage and supervise a team of staff pharmacists and technicians, fostering a culture of precision and professional growth.
Compounding & QC:
Directly perform and oversee specialized non-sterile compounding. You will be responsible for rigorous Quality Control (QC) to ensure product integrity and patient safety.
Clinical Oversight:
Act as the final point of verification for complex formulations and provide expert consultation to patients and providers.
Qualifications Licensure:
Active, clear Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
Experience:
Proven experience in non-sterile compounding and a deep understanding of USP standards.
Leadership:
Prior experience in a supervisory or PIC role
