Block Schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 26‑week travel assignment in Lubbock, TX. The Pharmacist will provide clinical and operational support in an acute care hospital setting, including intravenous preparation, compounding, dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring. Candidates must have hospital pharmacy experience with at least some pediatric exposure . Retail‑only backgrounds will not be considered. Requirements Minimum 1+ year of recent inpatient pharmacist experience Hospital pharmacy experience required•

(retail‑only backgrounds not accepted) Some exposure to pediatrics required Proficiency with Pyxis medication dispensing systems Skills in: Intravenous preparation, compounding, sterile technique Antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy , cardiac dosing , pediatric dosing Pharmacokinetic and renal dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring Pain‑controlled analgesia , chemotherapy , hyperalimentation , TPN mixers
Preferred:
experience with antineoplastic agents packaging , cad cassette systems , and immunosuppressive therapies Certifications & Licenses Active Pharmacy license (Texas state) PharmD required RPh preferred Current BLS certification (AHA required) Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with hospital protocols Compound sterile and non‑sterile preparations, including chemotherapy and TPN Monitor and adjust dosing for anticoagulation, cardiac, renal, and pediatric patients Provide pharmacotherapy management across multiple specialties (cardiovascular, infectious disease, oncology, pulmonary, renal, etc.) Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Document accurately in hospital systems and ensure compliance with safety standards Work Environment Inpatient acute care hospital setting Exposure to pediatric patients required Requires adaptability, strong clinical knowledge, and ability to manage high‑acuity cases Team‑oriented environment with interdisciplinary collaboration
