40 Hours Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 26-week contract assignment within a Level II in Lubbock, TX. This role provides overnight inpatient pharmacy coverage supporting pediatric and acute care patients through medication verification, clinical pharmacy services, IV admixture oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The assignment follows a structured 7-on/7-off night shift schedule and later transitions into daytime coverage during the assignment period due to staff leave coverage needs. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient pharmacy experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, dosing, and appropriateness Monitor inpatient medication therapy and ensure safe medication practices Provide clinical pharmacy support to pediatric and inpatient care units Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding medication management Oversee IV admixture processes and sterile compounding verification Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and allergy concerns Support medication reconciliation during admissions and discharges Respond to clinical pharmacy inquiries during overnight operations Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and system records Ensure compliance with controlled substance handling and auditing protocols Participate in pharmacy workflow coverage across inpatient service areas as needed Follow hospital safety standards, regulatory requirements, and pharmacy best practices Required Qualifications Active Texas Pharmacist License required Previous inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical pharmacology and medication safety knowledge Ability to work independently during overnight shifts Comfortable with 7-on/7-off block scheduling model Strong attention to detail and patient safety focus Ability to function effectively in pediatric acute care environments For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
