Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced PRN Pharmacist to support both compounding and traditional pharmacy operations. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Experience with compounding and PioneerRx is required.
Responsibilities:
Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately in accordance with state and federal regulations Perform non-sterile compounding in compliance with USP standards and company SOPs Provide clinical support and counseling to patients and prescribers Ensure accuracy in labeling, packaging, and final product verification Maintain proper documentation and compounding logs Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software for workflow management and documentation Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies Assist with inventory management and workflow efficiency
Qualifications:
Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing Previous compounding experience (non-sterile required; sterile a plus) Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software required Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy Ability to work independently and make sound professional judgments Excellent communication and patient care skills Flexible availability for PRN coverage
Schedule:
PRN / As-needed coverage (may include evenings and/or weekends based on business needs) Why Join Us?
