Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist - Plano Location (Texas Licensed) Heritage Specialty Pharmacy - 3.0 Plano, TX Job Details Part-time From $57 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Teamwork Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Attention to detail Licensed Pharmacist Patient care Pharmacy Pharmacy software Full Job Description Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist - Plano Location (Texas Licensed) Part-Time (10-30 hours per week; no weekends required) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide clinical pharmacy services, ensure the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Clinical pharmacists play a critical role in evaluating drug therapy, dispensing medication, counseling patients, and supporting care teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment plans. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness, accuracy, and safety Dispense prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely Provide clinical recommendations and optimize medication therapy plans Monitor patient response to medications and adjust therapy as needed Identify and prevent drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse effects Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations Clinical pharmacists are responsible for ensuring medications are safe and effective while working closely with care teams to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program (preferred) Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License (required) Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed (required) Strong clinical knowledge of Ig therapies and Hemophilia medications Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently in a part-time, flexible schedule Experience in clinical, managed care, or pharmacy services preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical pharmacy experience Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or pharmacy systems Multi-state licensure or previous licensing experience Schedule Expected 10-30 hours per week (no weekends required) based on pharmacy needs Potential for growth based on business needs
