Staff Pharmacist - San Antonio, Texas RPh on the Go - 4.1 San Antonio, TX Job Details Temp-to-hire 7 hours ago Qualifications Registered Pharmacist (RPh) Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist to support a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility in San Antonio, Texas. This position is a 13-week contract to hire, with a start date as soon as possible. The role offers valuable hands-on experience within a focused LTC environment, supported by a flexible QS1 software system, with training provided for candidates new to the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct final medication reviews and accuracy checks to ensure patient safety Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency and compliance Accurately dispense medications in alignment with facility protocols Collaborate with healthcare teams to support optimal patient medication management
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and clear Texas pharmacist license is required Previous experience in LTC settings is preferred but not mandatory Recent pharmacy experience, with the ability to perform independently during evening shifts New pharmacy graduates are encouraged to apply and will be supported through training on QS1 software
Schedule:
