Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to provide essential clinical and dispensing services within a 500-bed hospital setting located in Northwestern Texas. This role is designed for professionals with a background in hospital pharmacy, particularly those familiar with inpatient care and pharmacy systems.
Responsibilities:
Manage and dispense medications for inpatient care, ensuring accuracy and safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy. Utilize the EPIC system to document and verify medication orders efficiently. Monitor patient medication profiles and address any clinical issues. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacist, demonstrating proficiency in clinical and operational pharmacy tasks. Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently during night shifts within a 7-on/7-off schedule (Wednesday-Tuesday rotation).
Schedule:
7 nights on, 7 nights off (Wednesday-Tuesday rotation)
