In this energetic position, you will oversee medication dispensing, provide expert advice to patients, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal requirements Provide thorough medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and answering any questions Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality service delivery Conduct product demonstrations for over-the-counter items and health products to educate customers and promote sales opportunities Maintain inventory levels through stock management, merchandising, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with patients, healthcare providers, and suppliers to foster positive relationships Assist with retail sales by promoting health screenings, wellness programs, and other pharmacy services to increase customer engagement Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and pharmacy board regulations while maintaining accurate records Qualifications Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant regulatory authorities Previous experience within a retail or pharmacy environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex medical information in bilingual settings if applicable Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management Demonstrated customer service excellence with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Familiarity with merchandising, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is a plus Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, dosage calculations, and retail math tasks Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare services that make a difference!
