Job Description
As a staff pharmacist, rotating weekly shifts are from 0600-1930 Monday thru Friday. One weekend per month of on call status is also required. Responsibilities include. Safely verify, prepare, and dispense medications for surgical patients in accordance with physician orders. Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal medication therapy throughout the perioperative process. Review orders for accuracy, interactions, and appropriate dosing. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and hospital policies. Support medication education and maintain proper inventory and storage.
