Springville, UT Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Benefits AD&D insurance Disability insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Red Rock Pharmacy is a fast-growing Long-Term Care Pharmacy and we are looking for a Full-Time Pharmacist for the Springville area. We are looking for a hard-working, organized, problem-solving pharmacist with great attention to detail. Experience in long-term care pharmacy is preferred, but not required so long as the applicant is willing to learn.
SPECIFIC PHARMACIST DUTIES
Expert use and safety of medications dispensed. Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and ancillary help with filling, dispensing, labelling and packaging of medication. Perform the final check on all medication. Manage inventory and profitability. (Invoicing purchasing, labor etc.) Protect health information (HIPPA). Prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. Prepare sterile solutions according to USP 797. Prepare Enteral feeding and nutrition. Prepare computer generated forms and reports. Maintain the legal aspects of pharmacy practice and regulations.
