• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy
• Monitor patient medication profiles for potential drug interactions or contraindications
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards in pharmacy practice
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Participate in medication therapy management programs
• Provide education and training to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals ```Skills```
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service
• Proficient in medical management and utilization management principles
• Ability to provide comprehensive patient service in various healthcare settings
• In-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology
• Completion of a pharmacy residency program preferred
