  • Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week travel contract at a well-established medical center in Virginia.
This is a fast-moving opportunity with an urgent start, ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a dynamic hospital environment and are comfortable working rotating shifts. Candidates must meet all requirements at the time of submission for immediate consideration. Responsibilities Verify and process medication orders with accuracy and efficiency Perform order entry and clinical review for drug interactions Prepare and dispense IV medications Manage pain control analgesia and antibiotic therapies Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient care Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards Work Hours Rotating shifts (days, evenings, and overnights)
Day Shifts:
6:30 AM
  • 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM
  • 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM, 10:00 AM
  • 6:30
PM Evening Shifts:
1:00 PM
  • 9:30 PM, 2:30 PM
  • 11:00
PM Overnight Shifts:
7:30 PM
  • 7:30 AM, 8:30 PM
  • 7:30 AM Experience Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required Previous travel experience preferred Qualifications Active Virginia Pharmacist License (required at time of submission
  • firm requirement) Strong clinical knowledge in: IV medications Drug interactions Antibiotics Pain management (PCA) Experience with: Chemotherapy (preferred) Anticoagulation therapy (preferred) Pharmacokinetics and renal dosing (preferred)
EPIC EMR
