Job Description

Looking for a clinical hospital pharmacy role that offers the opportunity to practice at a high level while maintaining a strictly daytime schedule? A respected independent, not-for-profit healthcare system in Southeastern Virginia is seeking an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join its 300+ bed teaching hospital. This position offers a collaborative practice environment with active involvement in direct patient care, pharmacokinetic monitoring, provider education, quality improvement initiatives, and pharmacy resident precepting. Candidates must possess a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and be eligible for Virginia pharmacist licensure. Applicants must have completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or possess at least one year of inpatient acute care pharmacist experience. Strong clinical skills, residency training, and BCPS certification are preferred. This is a full-time day shift opportunity offering the chance to build meaningful relationships with providers and patients while working alongside an experienced and supportive pharmacy team.
