This role supports infusion therapy operations in a busy center with 44 infusion chairs. Friday Hours:

7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pharmacy operational hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30

PM Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical pharmacy services supporting outpatient infusion therapies including chemotherapy Collaborate closely with outpatient pharmacy staff, including 2-3 pharmacists and 3 technicians Utilize electronic health record systems (EPIC) and automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis) to dispense and verify medications accurately Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the preparation and administration of infusion medications Monitor patient outcomes and participate in multidisciplinary care teams

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia (VA Pharmacist License) Experience in outpatient infusion, hospital pharmacy, or oncology chemotherapy is strongly preferred Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is advantageous This position is a contract role with potential to transition into a permanent opportunity.
