Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic home infusion pharmacy in the Greater Seattle Area seeks skilled Clinical Infusion Pharmacists to join a high-caliber, patient-centered team. This temp-to-hire opportunity begins with a 13-week contract, providing valuable exposure to a clinical environment focused on complex and specialty infusion therapies. The role is based in Tukwila, WA, offering a structured Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday-Friday, no weekends Shift options: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM or 10:00 AM-6:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and regulatory compliance Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, TPN, and compounded sterile preparations Assess therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize effectiveness Collaborate with healthcare providers to support medication management and therapy recommendations Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies Support quality assurance and medication safety initiatives Maintain detailed documentation in pharmacy and electronic medical record systems Participate in workflow optimization within a fast-paced infusion setting
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Washington Pharmacist license Minimum two years clinical pharmacist experience preferred Experience in home infusion, inpatient, specialty pharmacy, sterile compounding, or ambulatory infusion required Strong knowledge of infusion therapies, IV medications, biologics, antimicrobial therapies, TPN, and sterile compounding Ability to manage specialty or complex patient populations Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills Collaborative and patient-focused approach

Home infusion and specialty pharmacy Hospital/inpatient pharmacy Ambulatory infusion centers Sterile compounding Biologics and specialty medications TPN and complex intravenous therapies This position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role while working alongside a supportive and experienced infusion services team. Candidates with clinical expertise in infusion therapies and a commitment to exceptional patient care are encouraged to apply with an updated resume, preferred schedule, and compensation expectations. Compensation for this position ranges from $63.00 to $69.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
