Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist role is available, supporting inpatient pharmacy distribution functions with an emphasis on oncology patient care. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a dynamic hospital setting and enhance your clinical skills, particularly in chemotherapy and oncology.
Location:
Everett, WA Type:
Contract (16 weeks +, Temp-to-hire possible)
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders using Epic system Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety Provide clinical consultation and answer drug information inquiries Supervise pharmacy technician activities to maintain efficient workflow Respond promptly to Code Blue and other emergency situations Utilize pharmacy technology systems such as EPIC and Pyxis efficiently
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist with relevant clinical experience Experience in chemotherapy and oncology preferred, given high patient acuity in this specialty Proficient with Epic and Pyxis pharmacy systems Ability to handle emergency response situations calmly and effectively Strong communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams This contract role offers a fast-paced environment where your clinical expertise and leadership will directly impact patient outcomes.
