Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy role is available for a licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital settings. The position supports critical inpatient pharmacy distribution operations and requires immediate full-time availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders using Epic system.
- Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy.
- Provide expert responses to clinical inquiries and drug information requests.
- Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician activities.
- Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations.
- Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Washington State pharmacist license.
- Background in hospital pharmacy practice.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage clinical questions efficiently.
- Strong leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technician functions.
- Immediate availability for full-time work on the assigned schedule.
Schedule:
- Night shift rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
- Typical hours approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
