Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Support critical inpatient pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting located in the Seattle area. This contract opportunity offers an ASAP start with an initial duration of 16 weeks, with potential to transition to permanent employment. Flexible scheduling includes variable days and afternoon shifts, each 8 hours long.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders using Epic software
• Conducting final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Responding to clinical inquiries and providing drug information guidance
• Supervising pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow efficiency
• Participating actively in Code Blue and other emergency responses
• Utilizing IT systems such as Epic and Pyxis to manage pharmacy operations

Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with relevant credentials and experience in hospital or inpatient settings
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide accurate drug information
• Experience overseeing pharmacy technicians and supporting team functions
• Comfort responding to emergencies within a clinical environment
