Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire We're seeking an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for a premier hospital system in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy a fast-paced inpatient environment and are looking for a long-term contract with strong temp-to-hire potential.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately using EPIC Perform final product verification checks to ensure safe medication dispensing Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff Oversee and support pharmacy technician functions Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy best practices Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and dispensing workflows
Requirements:
Active Washington Pharmacist license required Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required Full-time immediate availability required Experience with EPIC and Pyxis required Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently overnight Experience responding to emergency situations in a hospital setting preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
7 on / 7 off Night Shift Approximately 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM ASAP start 4+ month contract assignment with temp-to-hire potential
