Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Hot opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist in Seattle! We're seeking a hospital pharmacist with oncology experience to join a dynamic inpatient team on a 4+ month contract assignment with strong temp-to-hire potential. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clinically focused environment while gaining experience at a premier healthcare facility.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately using EPIC Perform final product verification checks to ensure safe medication dispensing Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to healthcare providers Oversee and support pharmacy technician functions Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy best practices Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and dispensing workflows
Requirements:
Active Washington Pharmacist license required Recent hospital pharmacy experience required Oncology and/or chemotherapy experience required Full-time immediate availability required Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently Experience with EPIC and Pyxis required Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
Variable day and afternoon shifts 8-hour shifts ASAP start 4+ month contract with temp-to-hire potential
