Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacist position is available in Seattle, WA, for a contract role starting ASAP with an initial duration of 16 weeks and potential for temp-to-hire. This opportunity offers a variable schedule with 8-hour shifts during days and afternoons. Responsibilities include supporting distribution functions within the inpatient pharmacy. Key duties involve order verification using Epic, performing final product verification checks, responding to clinical questions and providing drug information, and overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians. The role also requires participation in Code Blue and emergency response activities. Proficiency in IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis is essential.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of order verification and medication distribution processes Ability to provide accurate clinical information and answer drug-related queries Experience with supervising and coordinating pharmacy technician activities Skilled in emergency response protocols including Code Blue situations Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis pharmacy systems
