Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This clinical pharmacist role is focused on supporting inpatient pharmacy distribution functions within a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a preference for experience in chemotherapy or oncology pharmacy. This opportunity is contract-based with potential to convert to a permanent position.
Location:
Tacoma, WA Job Type:
Contract (16 weeks +, temp-to-hire possible)
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons, 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
  • Verify medication orders using Epic
  • Conduct final product verification checks
  • Provide clinical drug information and answer questions
  • Supervise pharmacy technician activities
  • Participate in Code Blue and emergency responses
  • Utilize pharmacy technology systems including
Epic and Pyxis Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • Licensed pharmacist with clinical pharmacy experience
  • Exposure to chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy preferred
  • Proficient with Epic and Pyxis systems
  • Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Experience overseeing pharmacy technicians is a plus
