The ideal candidate has clinical pharmacy experience, and demonstrates a strong commitment to patient care and service. We are looking for a long time employee. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medication management and patient assessment in various clinical settings, including ICU, PICU, trauma centers, and emergency rooms. Administer medications accurately, including IV infusions, ensuring aseptic techniques are strictly followed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement pain management and acute care protocols. Monitor patient responses to medications, adjust therapies as needed, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain thorough documentation of medication administration, patient interactions, and clinical interventions. Stay current with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and hospital protocols to support effective patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient service initiatives focused on safety and quality improvement. Assist in training staff on medication procedures, including aseptic techniques and medication safety practices. Experience Completion of a pharmacy residency with post-residency experience not required. Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience in diverse environments. Proven expertise in managed care settings and familiarity with pediatric (pediatrics) medication management is advantageous. The ability to operate Pioneerrx is essential. Strong background in medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology related to acute care scenarios is helpful. Requirements include:
Current, unrestricted WA Pharmacist License Certified immunizer (or willing to become certified to immunize and provide vaccinations). Opiate overdose and naloxone trainer. proactive and flexible in developing CDTAs, open to compounding / POC testing. CPR certified. Exceptional patient care and community care emphasis. Kindness and warmth help. Must be service oriented. Must pass drug test & random drug tests throughout employment Independently motivated in work, organized, motivated to grow the business, realize the poition requires creating enough income to support the activities, actions, and decisions made in their role. A Pharmacist who is proactive, emphasizes proper reimbursement & follow-up. A Pharmacist who finds solutions when they run into issues. Exemplifies internal motivation to improve all interactions. Realizes their input and ideas are valuable and their ideas will be openly received and apprecaited.
